These trees produce white aromatic flowers and reach up to 131 feet tall. Teak wood is known for its durability and water resistance, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Even if not treated with a finish, teak is still perpetual due to the natural oils found within the wood. The Indonesian government manages the country's forests to ensure the sustainability of Teak. Little maintenance is required to keep your investment looking brand new. Apply a furniture polishing treatment monthly with a cleaner such as Pledge. For light cleaning, a damp cloth can be used followed by a dry cloth to absorb excess water. Avoid leaving furniture in direct sunlight to keep from fading.
