At American Home Furniture and Mattress, this fall has been all about giving back and all getting together. From pumpkins that help feed local families to art that celebrates New Mexico creativity, our community spirit continues to shine bright.
Pumpkins That Feed: A Small Gesture with a Big Impact
This season, we invited our guests to take home a little piece of fall with our $5 pumpkins, and every single dollar went directly to the Roadrunner Food Bank of New Mexico.
These pumpkins aren’t just festive décor; they’re part of something bigger. Each one helped put food on local tables, turning a simple autumn decoration into a shared act of kindness.
We’re so grateful to everyone who joined in, picked out their pumpkin, and helped make this effort a success. Together, we’re showing what World Class, Local Style truly means, it’s a community that looks out for one another.
Design in the 505: Art, Makers, and Local Flavor
This fall, our Design in the 505 series continues with A Night with Local Makers at our Flagship location on Wednesday, November 13 from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.
It’s an evening to experience the best of New Mexico creativity, featuring:
- A local artist showcasing functional art and cocktail-inspired pieces
- Our candle vendor, filling the atrium with warm seasonal scents
- A local brewery offering sips that pair perfectly with the fall atmosphere
- Handcrafted tea towels and other local goods from New Mexico makers
The atrium will be transformed into a cozy gallery setting filled with design, art, and community connection. It’s the perfect opportunity to support local creatives, enjoy refreshments, and find something inspiring for your own home.
Gratitude That Grows
Whether it’s a pumpkin that feeds or an evening surrounded by local art, this fall reminds us that the best part of the season isn’t what we sell, it’s the people we share it with.
Thank you for being part of our American Home family and for continuing to support the community we all call home.
